I'm an artist working and living on the edge of the beautiful Peak District area of the UK. My work is inspired by light and colour in nature, particularly the effects of low light on landscape. Much of my work is focused on the landscapes of the UK and Europe, in particular Italy - which I adore!

 

I have exhibited widely both as part of group exhibitions and solo and have sold my work worldwide. I'm also a qualified art teacher and taught in Manchester schools, before deciding to focus on my painting full time, several years ago. I do still run occasional watercolour workshops though.

 

All my paintings are sent mounted, ready to frame. This both cuts down on postage costs and allows individual choice of framing. However, if you would prefer me to frame work on your behalf, this can be arranged - please just contact me. All work is well packaged and despatched in a strong box to protect during transit.
